HOW TO USE CHRISTMAS CHILD THEME

  • Add elements:
    add elements to your pages
  • Adjust:
    adjust content/style element if you needed
Set `firstxmasbg` class to section settings for use this background
Set `secondxmasbg` class to section settings for use this background
Christmas tree animation
Save the section in the library to use on your page.
Christmas tree icon
Save the element to the library and add to your page.

Save the element to the library and add to your page.

Save the element to the library, add to your page and change content.

Set `candycane` class to heading settings

HOW TO INSTALL CHRISTMAS CHILD THEME

Joomla

First option: add as child theme

  • 1. Download child theme package
  • 2. Unzip the package and upload folder to `/templates/` your site via FTP connection
  • 3. Choose `Christmas` theme in Yootheme > Anvanced > Child theme
  • 4. Download custom LESS styles
  • 5. Open the LESS file, select all, copy and paste to Yootheme > Settings > Custom code > CSS (after your code if filed not empty)
  • 6. Download this sample page layout
  • 7. Open the TXT file, select all, copy. Create new Joomla article, set title, category, swith your Visiual editor (JCE recomded) to source mode (HTML), paste code and click to SAVE article.
  • 8. Click to Yootheme Builder button and check layout.

Second option: add to your theme

  • 1. Download child theme package
  • 2. Unzip the package, open `/css/custom.css` file and add file content into your `custom.css` file or in theme settings Yootheme > Settings > Custom code > CSS (after your code if filed not empty)
  • 3. Download custom LESS styles
  • 4. Open the LESS file, select all, copy and paste to Yootheme > Settings > Custom code > CSS (after your code if filed not empty)
  • 5. Download this sample page layout
  • 6. Open the TXT file, select all, copy. Create new Joomla article, set title, category, swith your Visiual editor (JCE recomded) to source mode (HTML), paste code and click to SAVE article.
  • 7. Click to Yootheme Builder button and check layout.

  • 3. Activate `YOOtheme Christmas child theme` (with transparent peview) in Customize > Themes
  • 4. Download custom LESS styles
  • 5. Open the LESS file, select all, copy and paste to Customize > Settings > Custom code > CSS (after your code if filed not empty)
  • 6. Download this sample page layout
  • 7. Open the TXT file, select all, copy. Create new Page, set title, category, swith Editor to Code editor, paste code and click to Publish.
  • 8. Click to Yootheme Builder button and check layout.
